The design is retro and is fundamentally based on the 2 piece ‘beavertail’ wetsuit popular in the 1960s and 1970s and made famous by films such as James Bonds’ Thunderball and Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea.
The suit consists of waist trousers which can be comfortably worn with swimming trunks or suit, or for those who require them, incontinence pants or nappies with or without plastic pants, or special swimming nappies. The waist pants are also the most effective design for wheelchair users and very easy to put on. The jacket has a front zip and the important feature of a crotch strap or beavertail. The beavertail ensures that the jacket does not rise or the trousers fall when The suit is complimented with a comfortable and snug hood and pair of socks, ensuring warmth throughout the year for a range of watersports. The socks have non-slid soles, making them an appropriate lightweight alternatives to booties.
